Arizona Chemical and Orgkhim Enter Into Strategic Cooperative Agreement to Market Extender Oils to the Tire and Rubber Industry.

Arizona Chemical and Orgkhim, two leading resin manufacturers, have agreed to enter into a mutual strategic technical and commercial cooperative agreement to expand their geographical market coverage and improve the speed of getting state-of-the-art technologies to market.

“These signed cooperative agreements include an exclusive distribution agreement for Orgkhim’s Norman-346 Extender Oil, a TDAE oil for the tire and rubber industry,” explained Juhani Tuovinen, Vice President and General Manager, Arizona Chemical-Europe.

“We are very pleased and honored to work with the creative and resourceful Orgkhim team,” Tuovinen added. “We will have a bright future together.”

Norman extender oils are synthetic rubber and rubber compound processing aids used in tire production and mechanical rubber goods.

“Our TDAE extender oil products are already approved, meet 2010 regulations and are used today by major tire and rubber producers,” noted Orgkhim’s General Director and CEO, Nikolay Khodov. He added that Norman-346 meets the requirements of Directive 76/769/EEC for carcinogenic safety, and has been pre-registered by REACH, authorizing export operations in EU states.

The strategic partnership is off to a fast start, with Orgkhim already working on special technology orders for Arizona Chemical. “We are greatly looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Arizona Chemical,” Khodov said. “They are global leaders in our industry and will help us extend our commercial reach and grow our business.”
