Linear Release

An important benefit of Sylvagel gellants is their minimal impact on the release of fragrances, natural oils, and other volatile and non-volatile polar and non-polar additives.

Emulsification

Sylvagel gellants can be combined with non-ionic surfactants and blended with varying amounts of water to form emulsions. They are also self-emusifiable and may be used to formulate stable surfactant-free emulsions. Emulsions made from Sylvagel resins can range from solid pastes to creamy, lotion-like fluids. Both polar and non-polar materials can be blended into the solvent phase of these emulsions.
