Air Fresheners - Home and Industrial
Arizona Chemical offers two unique chemistries for formulating air fresheners. SYLVAGEL™ polymeric gellants are resinous materials that when melted into a combination of fragrance oil and diluent form a hydrogen bonded gel upon cooling to room temperature. The gels made with this technology are clear, hard and thermo-reversible - i.e. they will melt when the temperature is raised above the melting point of the mixture which is usually around 60°C.
SYLVAGEL™ IM technology forms transparent, three dimensional objects when combined with fragrance oils. This ambient temperature, cross linking technology produces clear, robust objects with up to 70% fragrance oil immobilized in a fragrance oil-polymer "matrix". As these objects are formed by covalent chemical bonding, the objects have high temperature resistance, in some cases well above 100°C.
